Corporate Chic

After dying my hair lilac it has become quite the challenge to work the hair into my everyday (Mon-Fri) corporate look!

I have found that keeping my lilac locks slicked back into donut buns (see my tutorial on youtube if you don’t know how to do these), and perhaps even in my standard messy buns with the curl in the fringe keep the lilac hair looking classy!

I have been stepping it up with blazers and closed in black shoes which have been helping a lot with compensating for the vibrant lilac hair I have been getting away with!

I would usually opt for a high waisted skirt & top, but I feel it looks to casual now that I have lilac hair on my head. I don’t want to risk looking like that bogan girl on the train who bought a $4 purple hair die and can’t afford to re-die it so is letting it grow out type thing, silly I know as my high waisted skirt & top is much more dressy than her Supre tights and her matching Supre spaghetti strap singlet.

I have been able to get away with a bit of necklace personality as well! Nothing makes me sadder than a lady in black who doesn’t know/is too scared to accessorise, so she just looks sad, just like every other corporate person in the CBD.

To go with all of the above, I have been keeping my makeup clean and simple, basic eyeliner, natural eyeshadow, and my favourite at the moment nude lips!
